The preparation degreasing solvent from Jaytees is for the pre-cleaning of bare metal substrates prior to application of a direct adhesion to metal (DTM) clearcoat to a freshly cut alloy wheel. When used as a system, this has been successful in eliminating what appears to be solvent popping and micro blistering of the finished clear coat surface.
